Wonderful poem you've penned my dear, for a tribute to you, Glen, your kids and grands and a summation of your FIRST 50 together.
The important thing in a marriage is to always end the day together, kiss each other good night and say I love you before going to sleep.

Awe, John Boy, since the whole entire house says goodnight to you, sorry, wrong John. (Couldn't resist)
Truth is John, I heard in Church once that going to bed angry and not making up was like sleeping with the devil.
So I can probably count on both hands the amount of nights that we didn't make up if there was an argument. Less than ten isn't bad when you consider we spent 18,250 nights together. Look at me telling numbers to the number man.
Anyway, John, I thank you for the amazing review and comments and the awesome stars, my wonderful friend and slightly younger brother. Hugs!

This is a perfect entry to the Debi and Glen book so many have posted for. Straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
I mentioned your anniversary to my husband, and he is in awe of you guys, as I am. Fifty years is a long time to stick with just one person, especially through hardships and tough times. But you did it, and you should both be very proud of that.
I'm pleased that your family gave you this party - a celebration of so many moments together. Fifty more?
You're going away now, right? I will think of you while I'm visiting your state.

Haha, the truth is dear sis, I woke up and posted it when I couldn't fall back asleep. So we just opened our cards and gifts this evening.
