As if I wasn't piqued with Spring Fever already!
This has me hankering for that first Robin...or Crocus pushing up through frosty ground.
Very melodic A/B/C/B rhyme throughout...more then that, you woke up my senses!

poem has all the ingredients to bring us into the mood for Spring. a nice poem as well to illustrate for a child`s read or someone in their late years that such words would provide comfort.

Do you mean: (nowadays) Willie? It is a pity that there are so many homeless people about and we have them in Lichfield too. Some are very young and it is easier to beg than it is to work. We can escape city life and enjoy the countryside and forget about the troubles of the city, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
