An interesting chapter, Sandra. You provided some great details regarding Gladys, Tommy and the Admiral. It is unfortunate that Veronica is called back before she can explain to Gladys and an interesting twist that she returns to the wrong time. It created a great level of suspense and intrigue. This is a great chapter, Sandra. I enjoyed reading it.
I like the dialogue between the women to get readers informed as to what is going on. I like the discussion of Tommy and his career and what would happen if Charles was exposed for the murderer he is.

In this line, did you intend to spell 'give' as 'giv'? Maybe is is the way they spoke.
"Gonna givus a quick flash, then?"

"She died just after we returned the last time to 1996. I understand this is time travel, but I got confused when this date, 1996, showed up. as I was reading, I though it should be 1916. Then I remembered why it was ok. So it is just me.

I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter, Jan. The Give us, gave me a dilemma, it sounds like GIVVUS, one word, but I didn't know whether to spell it with one V or two. I think I'll go in and change it to the ordinary, give us, as it sounds the same when said fast. Dialect is such fun, but can be hard to write. I can speak it easily enough, but spelling it is a different ball-game. I'm also glad you realised the year difference at the end. Thank you so much, Jan, for your lovely review. Now what's going on??? GRRRR, you have me frustrated by not telling me. LOL I am wondering if Veronica will be able to help Gladys prove Charles murdered her. I like that idea. I meant to give you a six, but I was so frustrated with the ending, I gave the wrong stars and now it won't allow me to change it. DARN!!!
