this is an excellent poem for us to take to heart for the New Year. It is good to remember the heartbreaks and sorrows of the past, but, that is truly where they should reside - In memories. Your poem offers hope and remembrance at the same time. 2Flower.

I mailed out a query to an agent yesterday and I have my fingers crossed. I am hoping for some good news for a change. I have had too many turn down letters.
The theme was chosen well. The flow was nice. The arrangement was done well.
There was no SPAG. No room for improvement.
I look forward to seeing you again.

This is a lovely poem. I am just learning about poetry and I think free verse is the hardest one so far. I never even liked poetry until I got on this site. It is poems like this that keep me interested. I will save this and read it over and over. Good writing. Lani2

We can certainly hope for the best and pray it isn't like the last....this is provoking and inspiring and it mixes all the elements to consider what we desire for this new year...very nice write...nice illustration...thanks for sharing..always..brenda
