Oh, Sandra, this is just lovely. How can I resist? Now they've got Amelia on board, and I can't wait to see what she's going to do about it. I loved the scene where they finally get Amelia convinced of Gladys being there. It's brilliantly written. A big hug, my friend. Ulla xxxx

Aww, thank you so very much, Ulla, for giving me another of your precious 6s! What a lovely review, as well. Now, Mildred and Veronica along with Gladys and Amelia, are all set to go after the VA. Lots of fun in store. Big hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

Now they are getting somewhere. I liked the chapter, it was full of action and detail, which kept me reading. As usual, you left me hanging at the end. So, I'm ready for the next one. Have a great day. Shirley.

Bravo! Riveting piece. Amelia should get an acting award for this scene. She was so believable, so utterly shocked. You spent enough time showing her reaction that I felt like I was in the room and wanted to run out and get away from the confusion. You just get better and better. :)

I'm sitting here stuck for words. What a lovely thing to say, Phyllis, I can't thank you enough. You could have given me a 1 star and I'd still have been overjoyed at this review. Thank you, my friend, the six stars are a beautiful plus to your amazing review. Love you lots, my friend. xxx Sandra x

I was so worried that this whole thing was going to go sideways, almost did a couple of times. It's very well-written interesting start to finish, your characters, dialogue seem real believable, and your description, details is perfect. Calling him a Venomous asp is being to nice. I do hope they get that that....

What a really lovely review! Thank you so very much for this, I'm delighted you enjoyed it. I had to smile at the 'that that...' lol! Yes, I know what you mean, but Mildred might blush even more if we call him some else! lol. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I thought Amelia handled that very well. So did you! LOL
I would hate to be Charles with these three ladies out to do him in. They will do it too, he won't know what hit him.
On the other hand I hope he will be aware Gladys is getting even.
Amelia was aware of the situation all along, but couldn't mention it until Gladys did. This is exception Sandra. Good work. Nancy:)

Lol, yes, they did let me into their little secret! And, Yes, Charles will most definitely know Gladys is going to make him pay for murdering her. Thank you so much, Nancy, for this fabulous review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the way this played out. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This was definitely an action packed chapter Sandra. You provided great details which gave the writing strength. One could feel the anguish, the doubt, the anger that Amelia felt. She overcame her doubt and with determination offered her help. It was indeed a trying time within this chapter for Mildred, Veronica and Gladys. I especially liked two parts- the first where Veronica insisted that Gladys take the hankie and wipe Amelia's tears and the second was the last sentence stated by Mildred. Fantastic job. Hugs and smiles.

Aw, thank you so much, Alie, for this lovely review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the part where Veronica almost had to bully Gladys to take the handkerchief. Now that Amelia is in the know, we'll see what the three women get up to next. Than you again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I think I need to fresh my memory toward your book. It is not easy to write in UK and then use a certain dialect for characters. I would think. However,,as always, you are still a great writer and I applauder your talent.

Thank you so much, Chuck, for all those stars!! I find it quite easy being English myself, and Mildred's dialect comes from listening to some of my Cornish friends, and some here in Hampshire, where I live. I do enjoy talking to them, the way they speak is so colourful. England has many different dialects, and I have to admit, some up in the North of England I just can't understand. They have a language all of their own. lol. Thank you so much, my friend. Big hugs. :)) Sandy. xxx

You've handled the transition between Amelia's incredulity and gradual acceptance of this paranormal experience in a way that rings true. It seems for a moment that their plans have been blown apart. Very good rise and fall of tension throughout the chapter. Now comes the interesting part - what they are going to do next. I don't think I'd like to be in the shoes of the Venomous Asp!
