A beautifully written series of rhyming quatrains.
Just as the the river flows so do the verses except they flow with a smooth cadence.
Your thoughtful word choices create a patchwork quilt view of trhe river as it wends its way from the mountains to the valley.

This is a beautiful rural setting in this picture and the poem adds to the photo nicely. Rural settings are such a beautiful place to be and I agree with the author. These scenes are food for the soul.

That was a gorgeous day. We happened upon this old mill just as the sun set. A stunning sight, leaving us with lots of questions.

The language in the narrative is clear and simple in its complexity! The aabb rhyme scheme is good, and the meter nice and even! Well done Carolyn, Roy.

Linda, we are fortunate in our Midwest, the rivers are so alluring. I love to fish, but sometimes I just enjoy sitting watching the river rolls by. Love you, Carolyn
