Dear Tony - this was a brilliant twist and you had me laughing by line two. Even though its a rather heartache type of post I think you pen it with flare...and who hasn't had that type of love - except it never was...

That is quite the brilliant mouthful in the midst of this hilarious and superior to the original piece. I'm sure by the time Shakespeare exited the garden she had already boinked the gardener. I like the honesty of this much better. This is perfectly written. Loved it!! mikey

Hey Tony, a really 'cool' adaptation of Will's original sonnet! This little send up is expertly executed because it's oh so subtle (although 'Thou art more frigid and more icy cold' kinda screams out! LOL).
A richly-worded enjoyable read. Well done!

Wow, Tony...I wish that's all I needed to say....I like yours as much as Shakespeare's . His, has darling buds of May ....words that have become the fabric of our lives..........because their fine display is pyrite gold....may become part of our consciousness but time will have to tell...and sonnets today, sad today do not do so well...you can't make a video game out of them.:o)
