Great picture and it drew me in. Great advice in the first two lines but no idea of the significance of the last line. Maybe if you had left a note it would have helped me.

This is a thought provoking little 5/7/5 poem. Never counting red stars, I presume it means because the red stars are dying out? I could see why we wouldn't want them to guide us if they aren't going to last. I admire the form of the haiku and 5/7/5, unfortunately I am not disciplined enough to follow the format. I'm not sure I know precisely what a red star is, unless that is the color of a dying star, but your message expresses so clearly the importance of doing what you love. I couldn't agree more. Failure is far worse than regret over never having tried something.

Thank you. You are the second newer member to ask that. Red stars are the ratings we use when we review. One up to six red stars. the site can give you a seven red star rating.

This one really got my attention, in more ways than one. I am considering leaving this site in the near future, simply because of the unfairness in the site daily writing prompts and other things. At times, I do believe there's some sort of cheating going on. After six years, it just isn't fun anymore. But, your entry has inspired me and I appreciate that. Your words are so true and your presentations is beautiful. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Bill

This one really got my attention, in more ways than one. I am considering leaving this site in the near future, simply because of the unfairness in the site daily writing prompts and other things. At times, I do believe there's some sort of cheating going on. After six years, it just isn't fun anymore. But, your entry has inspired me and I appreciate that.
