This is a thought-provoking poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. It is time to think about the frost and snow yet again. Luckily, it is still fairly mild here in the UK.

Missouri is mild compared to some of our States here in the USA. :-) But, it's cold enough for me. (21 today) So glad you enjoyed this one Tomes. :-) Carolyn

Carolyn: You have written a good 5/7/5 and the picture looks so beautiful to me. I lived in Michigan for 41 years and miss the snow (looking at it, only). I look out my window and I see flowers blooming, green grass and no snow to shovel or attempt to navigate within. Keep warm! livelylinda

I love snow.... just a short run of it though and I am ready for spring.. Maybe that's just fickle. LOL I am ready for flowers out my window, but the Missouri climate isn't. Thank you so very much for this great review. :-) Carolyn

Excellent satori line. Live the image in the second line because crytstal can apply to both the cold and the warm image. Head trip--good way to say daydream at night. I live in Florida. 82 high here. :-)

I like this a lot; it's an easy-read, which I can almost always enjoy. Also, it's meaningful! Conveying meaning with simple language is a lot harder than it sounds, so I salute you. Please check out my work sometime. :) Take care.

P.S. Enjoy the five stars!

Alas that is all we can do; take a head trip. But to where. My daughter lives in Jackson Ms. and it was 23 on Friday. BRRR. Nice tanka Carolyn.

Yep, me too. Actually we haven't had it bad, but it is still snowing, just not a lot of accumulation yet. We could go see A Tarnished Knight and Hawaiian Mermaid in guess where, yep, Hawaii. Glad you liked it John, we are leaving for Phoenix on the 18th. Should be warmer there. Have a great week my friend.

Winter is a beautiful time of the year, as long as we don't have to drive to work. Yes, it is nice to live where it is warm all year, too. That is a pretty picture and nice snowy poem, which is in the shape of a snowflake.

It is also snowing here but it certainly is pretty and perfect writing/reviewing weather. I love sitting and watching it. I wish there weren't so many accidents outside but what can you do other than slow down and take it easy. No need to rush. Great job with this and stay warm :)

What a nice review. People tend to drive a bit crazy in snowy weather. Getting to church was a little challenge but we just 'mosey' along like you said and take it easy. Where in the world do you live? Stay warm yourself. :-) Carolyn

I'm in Wisconsin and coming home from church wasn't bad for me because it had just started snowing but I'm glad I didn't go to late service :)

Hi Carolyn,

This is a really nice 5-7-5 poem for the contest. If you think it's cold where you live you should come to northern MN as our snow is deep and the temps have been in the -29 temps for days and still staying.

Kat

BrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. We have been in lower teens and that is the lowest so far. Larry and I leave for Phoenix, Az on the 18th. We hope not to run into bad weather, but we are driving. It should be warmer when we get there. :-) Stay warm and thanks for the great review. :-) Carolyn
