I'm so sorry, Cecilia, to hear about the loss of Angel (presumably in your profile pic). She sounds as though she was a true companion you adored and it's always so hard to part after so many years, especially at Christmas. Your acrostic verse vividly portrays the relationship you shared and the way you now find comfort in the image of her crossing the Rainbow Bridge. I sincerely hope that's the case and you can be left with many happy memories to compensate. I particularly warmed to her "wiggly butt" and "happy barks."

Thank you for the wonderful review. She was my heart. The picture is of Kratos. Angel was a Jack Russel/Pug mix. She was the best.

This is a very well-crafted Acrostic poem. The reader can really see that someone loved their dog, not as a pet, but as a good friend or loved one. I can tell this post will go over well with all the dog lovers out there.

Sorry for your loss my friend especially during this season that is suppose to filled with joy not sadness. I know how you feel I lost my cat to the rainbow also he was 16 years old I had him since the day he was born. The a few months later lost our dog who was 17. It's hard to lose your buddies you had a lifetime. Take it one day at a time, your poem you wrote is beautiful. Thank you for letting us grieve with you.
