This is one few chapter that seem less depressing. I am sorry Luke lost his job though. It seems as if the people who where giving you so much trouble being gone is a really blessing. I hope things will go well. At this point is he taking any food by mouth?

Thank you very much, Beth. Very little by mouth. He had always been given liquid nutrition pretty much around the clock at this time, with their endeavours for him to put on weight, so he rarely got hungry enough to accept more, and consequently his jaw strength was continuing to decrease. Thank you so much for your ongoing interest and pleasing reviews. Both are much appreciated.

I'm now relieved that you've received that essential affirmation and I can understand how moved you must have been as a result, after all those challenges. Thank you Debbie. Yes, the respite was a nice relief, and knowing there was a different team in charge gave a sense of freedom with hope for more interest in him as a person. A lovely review. Thank you for your ongoing interest and care.

So relieved to read this chapter and to learn that a semblance of ease and peace had finally been experienced by Jonathan and your family.
The following passages were heartening to read:

"They had all gone! I did not miss their leadership in the least. The stormy waves of sixteen turbulent years of Jonathan being in their care were subsiding.

There was a welcome period of calm. After the challenges we had faced with that manipulative, deceitful, and bullying team in charge, we were relatively happy that things seemed to have settled. Finally.

Thanks so much! Yes, a little breather .... I only have a few more chapters - I just hope the ending is okay. Many thanks for the encouragement. (Heading to bed now. You probably need some sleep too if you've been up all night. My vote is for you to keep going with yours!!)
