I'm glad you are continuing this. The scene was very easily understandable, but it didn't have the imaginary character. We learn a great deal about the home life and the parents of Cornelius in this one. Howard is ashamed of his son and he and his wife have a terrible relationship. The dialogue and action in this scene were excellent. I look forward to more.

Oh, yes, Cililla won't be in all the scenes. That would be a little overkill, I'm afraid and make it seem too flighty. I want the play grounded in reality. At any rate, Beth, I thank you so much for reading it and for treating it kindly.

Your script shows clearly, in Howard, the insensitive attitude some harbor regarding autism. While on the other hand the very caring and patient demeanor of others, Tolo. Our world takes its time before it understands many dire situations. This is a very good example.

Much obliged, Ralf. Yes, I wanted this to be a grounding chapter, compared to last and to offer the larger premise surrounding the autism problem. I'm happy you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the 6 stars!

Children like him by no mistake of theirs have to go through terrible things in their life. We have an autistic child -he must be about 12 - in our apartment. He makes such terrible noises at night. He attends a special school. Your script was gut wrenching .You have shown us through the dialogues the pain of the mother and the resentment of the father ...

Thank you, Sanku. I'm glad you were able to relate your own personal experience with the Autistic child in your complex. Also, you caught the tension I was trying to develop within the family constellation.

I really like and enjoy a good script, and this movie script, has the almost perfect plot and characters with it, the mother playsl the perfect protagonist and the dad the obvious antagonist, combine that with the almost loveable sympathetic victim Cornelius, and the "imaginary" and sympathetic Sililla Queez, you've got a great setup. Well done Jay, good going, blessings Roy

This is fantastic Jay. It is just so realistic, treating a delicate subject of how to raise a mentally touched child, without seeming in the least forced. I particularly liked the direction, which goes a long way to give the different characters their distinct personalities.

Oh my word! This is amazing, Joy. I'm glad people are more understanding of autistic children today. My grandson is borderline autistic, and is such a loving boy, but does have bad moments of frustrations. That Howard is a right swine, and now, when Tolo needs him to be a bit more compassionate, he's the reverse. I look forward to the next part! Excellent! Happy Easter! :)) Sandra xx

Heartwrenching--devastating depiction of family dynamics--you didn't have to tell us--you showed us--brilliantly--dialog and characters ring painfully true. Stunning scene.

Thank you much, Elizabeth. Yes the showing was easy with the strength of the characters. They seemed to write their own dialogue.

That's how it goes with me--I channel my characters and they spew their stuff--I scramble to keep up taking dictation!
