Spoiled rotten. Great photo of little Master Sawyer. No doubt rules the roost. Great poem Brooke. Good luck in the contest. I shall look for it in the booth.

This is rather dark for you, Brooke, as I thought you only saw the good in kids. This Leander sounds a real brat!
He swipes the sour from pickles and the spots from
butterflies which at least proves he's too BAD to be true. :-)
Lots of wicked laughs here...and I thought ALL kids were angels...yer, right! :-)
Cheers, Ted

Ted, thank you. Sawyer has entered his naughty period where he is throwing food just for the heck of it, even the food he loves the most. LOL Of course, I love the naughty as much as the angelic, but then again, it's Miranda stuck with cleaning up all the mess, not me. LOL Brooke :-)

I didn't realise there was a connection to Sawyer, Brooke.
Oh well, I'm sure he'll grow out of it by the time he reaches a hundred. :-)
Cheers, Ted

The kid was actually the perfect baby for over a year - always slept through the night, took his naps without complaining, pretty much did everything you asked him to do with no trouble. I knew the other shoe had to drop at some point. LOL My poor daughter is getting blueberries thrown at her left and right. ;-)

At least he has character and strength which boys need to some degree to survive against the girls. LOL. x

Oh wow, is Leander a terrible two already? I like the way you see his 'evil' with love... Serve him right, to be tucked in bed by her mother who has had enough of his naughtiness... :) A delightful story to follow, with the best choice of words. Wish you luck, Brooke. And btw, congrats for your latest win.

He is 16 months but his mother tells me he has developed a naughty streak. LOL He currently loves to throw food just for the fun of it, even the food he likes. :-) thanks so much for your review and for the congratulations, Belinda. Brooke

Sawyer has quite the stink eye there. I kept looking back at the picture and finally I had to start reading. I love the dastardliness to this. I could just imagine sawyer twisting his little mustache and laughing like a ad man. That image made it even funnier, if possible. Another great one.

Yep, that's the stink eye! LOL I imagined him twisting a mustache too to go with that raised eyebrow. :-) Thank you so very much, Gretchen :-) I so appreciate your generous sixth star :-) Brooke

Oh what a face! I have seen that one before Brooke, and the 'bed' is just the right place to turn that frown upside down.
I am still laughing from that face, and your perfect piece to describe it...
thank you

The picture is delightful. "Nobody's getting my cookie, i've got my eye on you." This is a delightful little piece. A day in the life of a little devil who will become like a little Angel once he is tucked up in bed. Children are wonderful. Admittedly, a lot of he time they can be little scamps but most of the things they get up to are just part of there own learning process although Leander here does seem to want to learn much each day. I was mesmerized by this read. Took me back to many childhood memories of my own. For this i thank you. All in all, this piece takes us joyfully through the day of Leander, the scamp.I Love the flow and the images. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Good, cute, complimentary photo. Good consistent 8,7,8,7 meter. Good use of the abcb rhyme scheme. Nice description of the character summarizing all the pranks and mischief. Nice ending with the villain being tucked in bed. Great overall job.

Wow, this was really well written. I enjoyed the presentation in it's entirety! This piece of yours reminded me of a movie I watched not to long ago...'We need to talk about Kevin'. Have you seen this one? Check it out if interested. Thank you for this twist on the norm...great work! Keep up the groovy writing (-_-)!!

Even when he tries to look angry and evil, the cute little guy looks cute :) This is another well written poem that makes a good addition to the Cute Little Guy collection.

I had to laugh at this one. As a mother of five boisterous boys I can really identify. the need to just put them to bed at the end the day is simply overwhelming. The last verse was absolutely fantastic.and this one was the most original -"
"He pilfered spots from butterflies,
their wings now drab and dreary,
and plucked the silver from the stars,
the world now sad and weary. "

Thank you so much, my friend. Five boys? I had enough trouble with one boy and one girl. LOL Brooke
