Oh dear, he doesn't seem to be the least bit upset. Of course he thinks his wife can do nothing to hurt him. It will be fun to see what the spirits come up with. =} Well done as always my dear. Rox

This is so good. I wish Charles showed a little more remorse but he's extremely arrogant and it will make for a better story, won't it. I can't wait to read more. You're going a great job.

It's going to be a lot of fun for the girls now. They will be thinking up ways to break him down. Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, Barbara, and the lovely review. Big hugs, Sandra xxx

I enjoyed reading this. It seems those two are going to have a lot of fun with Charles although he isn't too fazed at the moment.
One glitch I found:
I flipped the pages back to the beginning and glanced the heading. - should there be an 'at' after 'glanced'?

Hi, Judy, thank you for pointing that out, I've fixed it now. :)) Thank you also for the lovely review. Yes, the girls are going to have lots of fun, and Charles will soon lose his temper! Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I love this...now I have to go back and read all the earlier chapters! The humour is delicious and the sense of wonder and mischievousness that Gladys seems to have have found draw the reader in. Sorry I came to the chapters so far into the book...going back to pick it up at the beginning!

That would be amazing if you can do that. I hope you enjoy the read. Thank you so much for this really lovely review, and all the stars! Big hugs. Sandra xxx

I love it when they move things and drive people crazy. The ink spill might be serious, though. What was on that map? I wish Gladys would lighten up. She's so timid but should not be. No one can hurt a ghost, after all.

There is going to be a lot more coming up, and Gladys will definitely come out of her shell. Thank you so very much, Phyllis, for the lovely 6 stars and this lovely review. All his plans and positions were on the map, he'll have to do it all over again, and again... lol. lots of hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hi Sandra,
Ha ha ha! I love your sense of humor...venomous asp. Lol And my favorite part is where she writes on his map. Nothing here for me to suggest you consider reworking. Thanks for a delightful read. Jan

I liked your 'venomous asp' who could put the wind up the devil! Not quite the reaction your two poltergeists hoped for, but you have left open the possibility of a lot more fun at his expense. Another most entertaining chapter.

No it wasn't, but that will only force Veronica to think up something better, so, yes, there will be lots more fun coming. :)) Thank you so much for the six lovely stars and this wonderful review, Tony. I always appreciate you. Big hugs, Sandra xx

Hi Sandra,
That gave me the chills when he spoke to the ghost and made threats. I'm sure Veronica will step up her game now. I like that she defended Gladys. That's what I like most about Veronica :)
Looking forward to reading the next chapter.

He's not a nice man at all, Joy. Don't worry about Gladys, she is with the right two ladies to bring her out from underneath that awful husband of hers. He can't hurt her any more. Thank you so much, my friend, for another of your lovely reviews. :)) Sandra xx

That's strange isn't it. A Gladys ghost doesn't scare him perhaps visits from a monster might. But he is a monster so probably not. Anyhow, they learned she is a quick study and will be able to help with the haunting of the Vise Admiral as needed in the future. Well done Sandra. xxx Nancy:)

Yes, but that is typical of him, but don't worry, Ver will know what to do. Thank you so much for the lovely review, my friend. What do you think of this new layout? I'm finding it difficult at the moment. Have you noticed they only put, 'My Post' now under Latest? Not the title. Weird. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

I'm on classic fanstory. I noticed it is messing up again in hopes we will leave. The new site just doesn't fit my screen. I hate all those tabs floating around too. I think the best way to get rid of the
Creep is haunt him with his friends around and make him look goofy so they will put him away. LOL

Glades and Veronica try to scare the daylights out of Charles Pembrock, or "venomous asp" as Veronica suggests, to which Gladys laughs and loves it. But he seems to not be frightened, but Veronica thinks it might be bravado, I wonder if they do it in front of others.... Well done Sandra, good writing, blessings, Roy
