HI Sandra, I don't know how one would be able to tell if the other had both oars in the water...their both all over the place...LOL...I don't think Veronica minds traveling all over in time...but what can the reason be for going backwards...hmmmmm...I think the...powers that be...have been tilting the bottle a little to much...have they my sweet friend????....a little early Christmas yule tide...LOL...Veronica understands what going on for the time travel part...but Mildred doesn't have a clue....(hands on the side of my head)....I'm soooo confused sweet girl...looking forward to the next chapter you...love you lots...and more my wonderful sweet friend...Linda xxoo

LOL. I love that ... both oars in the water! LOL!! I'll have to use that one day, I think the Powers That Be, just might be having a little tipple, but only as much as I have, a tiny little glass of sherry! :)) Never mind, Linda, everyone else is as confused as Veronica and Mildred, but after a few more questions, a glimmer of light might just peep through. Superb! You had me gripping the edge of my seat throughout the whole chapter - and the ending? Well, could any of us imagine what might have happened if we lost the first World War? I suppose the only good news is it would mean we didn't have a second, and millions of people wouldn't have died because of Hitler, but I'm sure Veronica's main concern is her now non existent husband and children.

Hmm. This chapter leaves a lot of unanswered questions. I'm sure you will answer them in your next chapter. With what's going on, it makes me wonder if she didn't change history. It's very well-written interisting. Your dialogue is perfect and your characters seem real.
