Carolyn; a very tranquil and serene and also very beautifully written. Also the picture that you chosen show how temperate and moving your poem really is represented very well. Your poems writing shows how sincere and truly honest how you feel about your parents. Your use of alliteration in your poem was also very interesting is you used it in: "deep despair". The rhyming was done fairly well and neither forced nor labored and also defined as near or oblique rhymes. Thank you for sharing and posting and may the Lord be with you always Carolyn.

Hi Carolyn,
You come up with great ideas to write the most beautiful poetry. I love this one too. I wish my mind would give me ideas to write some, but I'm not thinking straight nowadays because of my forgetfulness. Well, truthfully I never could think of any good ideas or I'd be writing a lot more.

Four lines - a short poem - but when I came to the last line I was deeply moved. I second, and applaud, what you have written. Lovely sunset. Warm regards Dorothy x

Nice poem. The truth is when we are in despair as we take that to the Lord he comforts us, And when we go to Him we have thoughts of those loved ones who are with Him. Blessings, Patricia

God is so good, I know he holds all things in the palm, but He favours His beloved children, and those that are under their care, there is absolutely nothing that is He won't do for His beloved, well done, beautifully written, blessings, Roy.

A lovely poem written in so few words, but packs a powerful message. The world does seem lost, and getting worse with each passing day. Thank you for reminding us all to just look to our Heavenly Father for guidance. Great Job!

He holds them near and safe until we are able to be reunited with them in a far distant future (hopefully).
