Hi Sandra :)
Absurd? Never!
I believe I just had a masterclass in alliteration! What a feast!
Brilliantly well written - rhyme & meter perfect and I'm making no comment on your alliteration LOL!
When you've mastered assonance - let me know what it means will you?!
Lots of love, Debra xx

LOL, Debra! I am still studying up on assonance! Thank you, my friend, I'm glad you liked it, I was really having a giggle trying to get it to sound something like a poem. Watch this space, for my attempt at assonance, and I can assure you, it will be an ATTEMPT!!! :) Sandra xsx

good consonance of V sounds in viewed reviewers' views
reviewer's views - should be reviewers' - plural possessive
wondered at the wonder of their words - fun use of alliteration and good word play
fun alliteration throughout
good assonance in awe of authors' authenticity
good alliteration and assonance in pens pepper
I love how you lay the alliteration on so thick as you comment on how such overuse of a device can lead to humorous results :-) Brooke

Thank you, Brooke, I started writing this after I gave you that, ahem, 'proper' review. LOL, How old am I? and it's only now I've learnt what these words mean! Next stop, 'assonance'! :) Sandra.

I love all the inspired wordplay, as well as the fresh alliteration, Sandra. You know I tend to trod the tangled grove of prose, as opposed to the purified air of poesy,
but I like to employ poetic devices nonetheless. I always have dictionary ink smeared on my nose, and I break the spine of at least two Thesauri(?), Thesauruses(?) a year.
Great entertaining piece. I'll be watching for assonance
in your next post. Hey, I'm usually just watching for ass.
Peace, Lee

You wouldn't want to watch mine! :) I'm really pleased you liked it, Lee, it was just a bit of fun. When I first joined FS, a few years ago and had reviews saying these strange things about my poetry, I had no idea whether they were good or bad! LOl. I know; I'm an idiot. Thanks, Lee, for the lovely shiny 6 stars, I wasn't expecting to get one of those, so that was a HUGE bonus! I've just read your T-Bone story, it was brilliant! xsx Sandra

Though I am a novice in poetry writing as well as reviewing, I find your alliteration to be excellent. One example - 'their pens pepper pleasantly' should suffice. Reviewers are an incorrigible lot. They try to find fault frantically from the front to the finish.

Thank you for this great review, There are some amazing reviewers on here, and I am sure most of them despair of me ever getting the grammar right, let alone the reviewing!! LOL. They are all lovely people. I'm so pleased you liked my alliteration! Thank you. xsx Sandra

Plenty of alliteration here, Sandra. You did it just fine!
I'm in awe of author's authenticity
As their pens ... << You use THEIR, implying you are speaking of MANY authors. In this case, the apostrophe goes AFTER the S, so this should read "I'm in awe of authors' authenticity."
I love this clever phrase in the first line: viewed reviewer's views :)

Thank you, Phyllis, I hot-footed it over to the editing page and corrected that. I think my brain in definitely in decline! I'm really pleased you liked it, I decided to work my way slowly through all the nits I keep making and learn them one at a time. At this stage of my life, that's the only way I can do it!! LOL.

If you write reviews like you do poetry, then I would say you are on the right track. This was a lovely poem, most rewarding to read. Keep up the great work and don't get down on yourself. It's a learning process. Take care!

No, you're not a nerd, or at least from what I read here. Great alliteration, in that it sounds so natural, unforced. The rhyming is smooth. It's a topic most writers will get a kick out of. Well penned! Les

A proponderance of pleasantly penned linguistic lyrical language, subterfuged with satisfactory subjugated silliness of charismatic charector in charades... Phew! What a crock on my part.
Loved your poem! Job well done. John
