A 5-7-5 writing prompt. The short poem complies with the requirement. The time is Halloween and there is so much fun. Eerie characters are in the offing. Screams and laughter have just begun. That, in essence is what the poem portrays.

Oh, we do so love to be frightened, don't we? And so many haunted houses, circuses, forests, etc., tie the money to a good cause so we have to go again and tell ourselves we are helping....don't we?
It is all so deliciously fun.

Gruesome tittle name. Attractive to the eye. Again, some unique word choices that enhance the mood of this Halloween thriller. Perfect timing... Halloween is just around the corner. Already, there is a chill in the air. Halloween is my favorite holiday. It is a fun celebration and time of the year. Time to play, we worked all year and deserve to be kids again. Wow, I love Halloween, and everything about it - the crisp fall air, the little ghouls and goblins trick or treating, the candy...(LOL) - did ya halfta go and make me scared to go out with my pillowcase now? Best of luck in the contest. :0)

WOW. Even the colors scream at you. Awesome art work. Halloween is definitely "Autumn ". I can hear almost hear the characters shriek at me.
