Ahhh how I wish this were true my friend. I was so positive that we could have our independence but unfortunately 55% either didn't agree or were frightened by all the scaremongering and dirty tricks applied to our vote. :(. It's not sour grapes, nor is it paranoia. Just a sad truth of a government so corrupt that we are now held in chains once again.
Anyway to your poem my friend, I love it. Perfect composition and strong entry into the competition. I wish well for you and Jade and I hope this wins. So beautifully presented too. Good luck, light and love, Jaq xxx

Hey Jaq... I was thinking of you as I heard the result... the fear mongering train rolled the chance of a life-time... but that's how governments rule and keep the 'ordinary' folk in line... so I'll look at it the positive way... Mother England was so scared her favorite child was leaving home that she had to everything she could to keep you tied to her apron-strings... I just hope sanity prevails... 55% V's 45% of a population is likely to cause a tad of unrest amongst the natives... it happened here as well... it just that England has control issues and knows where her truth strengths lie.
So thanks a heap for your wonderful review... and know independence is gained through internal belief, not through forced rule... heads-up Scotland the Brave... the fights only over when you stop.

Wow, my brother...I liked that. Straight and to the point. Philosophically sound and bravely delivered. Good workings between image and thesis.
Well done.

Hi Jumbo J,
Its true. A person is doomed as soon as they they think or say they can't do something. Positive thinking and doing will get 'er done.
Nicely presented. Good luck in the contest
Cheers & Blessings

Ah my mental pickture is that little train from the child's tale humping it up a steep hill with the caption, "I think I can. I think I can, I think...."
Well done, You with Yoga and me with Child's tales.

Hi Pyrrho,
hey, as long as the path leads to the same point... doesn't really matter how we travel there, as long as we get there, right?
Thanks for the review and rating... most appreciated.

I could have SWORN I reviewed this already! (I'm losing it, James. LOL) No, I KNOW I read it, but maybe something interrupted...
Anyway, this is marvelous, my friend - a perfect Naani! My first thought when I read it was" Why did I bother entering?" Honestly! This is exactly what the form calls for, and it's truly inspirational. I hope you win!!!

Hi Dawn,
well... thanks for all your wonderful comments towards my naani, but the truth is we'll just have to disagree about yours... why did you bother entering... because what you do is all you... and I was actually hanging back until my stars to return, to show you what I thought of your naani... I read yours, went straight into contest with something that was still rolling around in my mind... I'm the one that says why did I enter that... but someone's gotta win... and there needs to be fodder for that win to mean something, so I don't mind being that fore someone, especially if that someone is you.
Thanks a heap for your sincere and wonderful review... and even though I tell you all the time... I really appreciate not only your support, but the friendship that is attached along with everything... all given with a genuine heart... thank you, my dear, sweet friend.

My dear knight, you are far too generous and way too kind - I've said it before but it bears repeating: I only wish I was HALF the person you seem to think I am (but don't stop believing - it keeps me going when the chips are down, and those damnable chips love the round)! :0)
All kidding aside, James, this Naani is perfect, and I honest-to-God hope you win!

Through positive thought
We create positive outcome
If we think we can't
Then we never will.
James,
Wonderful pearls of wisdom. With all the sh_t I've done in my life and all the wrong I've been able to accomplish, I believe I'm finally in a place to go forward. What you have written in this poem solidifies my mindset and I will carry those words with me as I live on, one day at a time!
Thank you my Brother. These words couldn't have come at a better time. Have a great weekend.

Hi John,
this review has made posting this poem worth every bit of goodness I feel... if you gain anything out of these words that will help you go forward with your talented passion... then I'm wrapped my brother... and to tell you the truth... all that sh_t we've gone through has brought us to this point in our lives... many paths with a lot of corners and bends... so don't waste the experience... use it!
Thanks brother you've really made the start of my NRL finals weekend shine in your stars... 'you'... have a great weekend.

Hi Jumbo I always try to think positive but it's not always easy. So true that if we think we can't, we never will but you have certainly positively impressed me with your naani. Good luck.

Hi Wendy Anne,
yeah, I know it's hard to keep the positive vibe up at all times, but as long as we recognize the slip quickly... that way the ramifications of negativity won't be able to take hold for as long.
Thanks so much for your review and rating, it is most appreciated... have a great weekend.

Your poem of 23 syllables in 4 lines is in good naani structure, and your message is definitely a reflection on the human condition, which I look for in the naani.
I would place a period after outcome.
A most insightful observation

Jumbo J: you have written words to live by. Think positive and results will be positive. Think negative thoughts and nothing good can possibly happen. Good luck in the contest. Doesn't VMarguarite have the best pictures? livelylinda

Hi Linda,
yes and yes... positivity will always be my mantra... it's the thing that keeps the mind focused and on an even-keel... as you say negativity breeds negativity... so who wants to be looking at a half-full cup? Not me... not you... so we'll keep doing what we do best and learn the big lessons that positivity allows us to achieve.
Thank you for your wonderful review and well wishes... most appreciated... take care and have a really great weekend.
