I like the line ant carrying chocolate. Wonderful use of description. It creates a great image in my mine. Great job with the syllable count. Best of luck.

This is a cute poem to go along with the picture you chose to accompany it. I saw the picture and was thinking of "The ants go marching". This little ant is plodding up the hill with his bounty of chocolate swiped from a backpack.

I don't know if this followed all the rules or not. Don't hold to rules much myself. But I loved the visual, so funny. And the poetry that explained it, too adorable. Good job.

Too cute this one - closer to the truth than we might admit especially when we leave our sacks on the floor. Think teachers might find this cute to post for their younger children to encourage them to keep their food and snacks off the ground. Good luck with the contest.
Just my thoughts...AT=/

Ants are capable of carrying objects 50 times their own body weight with their mandibles. Ants will enslave other ants, keeping them captive and making them do work for the colony. And we all thought slavery was dead. Ants sometimes herd or tend to insects of other species, like aphids or leafhoppers. So their are some species who take care of their own, as well as others of completely different species.
Nicely done. Good luck in your contest.

Hi anon - A cute haiku with first two lines interconnecting perfectly which you follow with the necessary satori. Do ants eat chocolate LOL? They certainly work hard. Good luck in the contest. Kind regards Dorothy

Your Haiku fits its constraints admirably for the hill is excellent and the carrying up the m&m herculean. You picture is very creative and I hope instrumental in winning the contest.

Great picture and good use of this short form of poetry to tell a brief story. With what you've got to work with it doesn't leave much room to write a flowing short poem. In your case you've made a good job of it. Good luck in the contest.

Y'know, for that Sisyphus ant laboring with the piece of chocolate- I hope you let him eat a piece for his efforts. I like your transformation of landscape.
