Let this storm
from Thee blast off hate
from this world.
Wouldn't it be just great if we could blast of the hate off this corrupt world.
a very good entry, good luck in the contest.

stunning presentation of your poem, which is in excellent 3/5/3 syllable count as required by the contest
good use of enjambment to make this one continuous statement
fascinating interpretation of the air theme in this emotionally-charged poem with a strong spiritual component

I see irony on these three lines. Some might even consider it a blasphemy of irreverence. However, the writer has a subtle message here.
I also see contrast; the line "Let this storm from Thee..." seem to imply that the Creator is sending down a catastrophe as a punishment. Then "blast off hate from this world" implies a blessing.
This is the author's metaphorical storm. There are other "storms" that strike the world - poverty, famine, disease and more.
Were I to picture two warring countries suddenly struck by a massive and damaging storm I can see their hatred for each other "blasted off."
Already, we have witnessed and are witnessing cooperation between countries who have differences because they cooperate to face a common problem.

It's always hard to review these tiny poems, but I was caught by this one. Unfortunately it is going to take more than a storm to wipe out hate from the world, hate and love are just two sides of the same coin. Life is about balance. It made me think.

We definitely need a huge enough storm to blast off the hate that exists in the world today! Good spiritual message and well chosen words. Good complimentary picture and good luck in the contest. Faye
