Well this is a very lovely poem and I'm sure Brooke thinks so. Your first two stanzas could have been written by her - they are very adewpearlish. As usual beautifully displayed. With a very nice lullaby. We certainly get our money's worth with you Dean. Very lovely. Interesting author notes. Regards Dorothy

Thanks for such a lovely review, Dorothy. Coming from an immensely talented poet such as yourself, I will hold this fantastic review in the highest regard...

This poem's a delight to read with its perfect rhyming, even pacing. There's a musicality that makes the reader want to break out in song at its beauty, gentleness and wistfulness. I am sure Brooke got her wish granted with this one. I love both your styles, and I love all that purple. How in the world did you manage to create such a magnificent piece that looks like the words are super-imposed? Great job!

Thanks, Titanx9, I appreciate that lovely review.
The format is called 'PictaPoem', one I've created for FanStory, exclusively. Think of them as a graphic novel, and you'll get the basic gist of what it is I am trying to accomplish with this art form...
Thanks so much again, sincerely!

This was an interesting poem to read, written in the quatrain style. It was kind of hard to follow. Had good rhythm and rhyming. Interesting picture.

Thanks very much for your most generous review, denhagan. I appreciate it, my friend. I am sorry you found it hard to follow. So far, you're the only one that has mentioned the structure being so. Perhaps I shall take another look at it to see if I can make it...easier for you to comprehend.
Thanks, again

You're welcome. I do so like to comprehend things,

WOW!
Well, I'm first stumped to have the page open up playing music, following your poetry posted ON A PHOTO. how the heck did you bypass all the normal proticol and KNOW how to do that. Genius, you are.
Now the poetry itself stimulates my creative mind and recollection of such beautiful lavender fields. I wish I had one near by these days.
LOVELINESS! WOW...I'm amazed.
Loved your author's notes too.

Thanks for such wonderful compliments, PV! I do have such a field near my home, a large pasture where my Chihuahua and I go to, every morning without fail, to watch the sunrise at 5:45 am. Unless it's raining, of course. Those times, we just sit on the porch and listen to the rain tinkling against the tin roof. Just as nice...almost, LOL.
Thanks again, I am glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you very much, Barbara. She inspired me to pen it, I felt it was the least that I could do...

I totally understand. I've done that many times as well. Hope you are having a great day.

Wow, you have created a magnificent poem! It flows elegantly! I am sure Brooke will be very impressed, as am I. The illustration choice is breathtaking, although the poem would still be great without one.

Thank you chromeangel33, I appreciate your wonderful comments. Brooke asked for a 'pictapoem', and, that's exactly what she got...
