I thought to myself, there's a lot of Beatles songs here, but also some much older ones too, which makes it very clever, weaving in some quirky fanstory story names to boot around as well. I can only stand in awe and say well done, for this, it must have taken some effort, very clever, my admiration, well done, Jimi, blessings. Roy

royowen, how are you? This was such a fun thing to do. A friend had challenged me to write a poem using three Beatle songs. I told him I would do better than that. I just kept writing and had no idea where it would take me. It did not take me very long. Perhaps two hours and honestly I did no editing until I posted, but it was minimal through suggestions. What an endearing walk down musical memory lane, as only us Boomers can. We have memories attached to each song, unlike those who know the words but didn't live at that time. Nice incorporation of songs in a whimsy way. :0 GracieAnn

It was exceptional! Creatively written, and well prepared. One thing I would have liked to see is, a more captivating introduction. It seems like such a good story should have a more solid intro. After all, the intro is like a foundation of a house. every thing is standing off of it.
The ending seemed a little weak but over all, very well done!

I chuckled throughout but had a great laugh at this line, All I've Got To Do is get down That Long and Winding Road to get to the airport, but it's impossible.
If you were to ask me to explain why I find it so funny I would have to respond with, "I haven't a clue."
Love this contest -- it's been a blast and all are excellent, dynamic entries. Kudos to you! You are the best.
