Did you see what EE did to the simple word jalapeno? It was a crime! And you want me to try italics? Oy, you're a braver gal than I, miss Cali gurl.

Great writing. I love the story line since it moved so smoothly from one scene to the next. there was one error in all "I'd realize he hadn't called and I'd think that " change think to thought because you portray her as an intelligent woman. I can't wait for the next chapture.

Another excellent chapter, Gayle. I think that Rudy is about to figure out that Cathy is being watched and will soon start trying to spot the observer when the calls come. Perhaps Jim and Lenny could get a trace put on her phone to give them more info. Terrific chapter, very well done.

Wow, now what more could I ask! Thank you so much for the kind words. I actually don't have personal knowledge. My mother had macrodegeneration late in life, but she was able to still see a good bit. Actually, I wrote a YA book called Riding Blind. It's about a girl born blind and her story is very different from Cathy's.

Anyhoo, thank you so much for becoming a fan. I hope I can continue to satisfy!
