Having a gorgeous face is handy for a sleight of hand artist.

You're back to the alliteration you love so much, using it to describe a beautiful creature before using your own sleight of hand to inform us of how ugly she is on the inside.

Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for the read. I don't think of her as ugly on the inside, just crafty. When everyone knows you are doing a trick, are you really tricking them? Karen

Whoa. I can no longer think of you as "KCT". --

When did you drop Threadgill?

I get why...I just have to stop in and have my brain adjusted.

(smile)

G g g g g good little story...

Your Trojan line is hysterical!

Hmmm.

Can I guess what they were looking at instead of her hands?

Hah!

I hope you're doing well.

I hate winter.

Flowers please!

I sent you some flowers in email. Thanks for the read. I may not be able to afford the divorce, but here I can unload him and the name. I am me. Karen

Yes, you ARE! Thanks for the flowers by the way! They made my day!

I had to read this several times trying to keep the "Gs" straight. At first, I thought "Today's story is brought to you by the letter G." I really get a kick out of your writing. Good twist at the end, "Nobody looks at her hands." She obviously made good of her recovery from the accident. Good luck in the contest. Frank

Was that Sesame Street or The Electric Company?
I thank you for the read. This was a bit of fun. Karen

I'm thinking Sesame Street. I vaguely remember both programs, but I was usually at work or off doing something else when the kids watched the shows. My loss. I wish I had taken more time to sit with them. I did enjoy the fun in your story. Have a wonderful day. Frank

I think it is Sesame Street too.
We were told back then that men went to work and ladies stayed home to raise the kids. Which is why my Social security is so bad. I did all the paperwork and taxes for the businesses but never got paid until I was fifty. then not for long because Of another terrible back surgery. Whine whine whine. Karen

This is an amusing story with your signature use of the same initial letter. What happened to your previous last name? That wreck did wonders for Greta when she could turn herself into Grace. I'll bet no one can see what her hands are doing unless it is a jealous wife.

Thanks for the read. Cold as all get out here. I got tired of his name being attached to me. It may be a while before I can pay for the divorce. But here, I don't have to use it. :-) Karen

Where are you? I'm in Illinois and we had a couple of days of 50 degrees but supposed to turn windy and get some cold nights and rain. You certainly don't have to use a name you dislike and are ashamed of. In Illinois there are places to get fairly cheap divorces, but can you get anything out of him?

As this started out, I thought each word was to start with a "g". Then it ended.

Storyline was comical and entertaining. Typecast lines twist was classic for a flash fiction.

Best of luck in the contest.

An excellent ad for Trojans, the artwork pulled me into your flash fiction. With a face like that it would be easy to be a magician. I'm sure that her hands would be lovely as well.

Good artwork and story to go with it, Karen. You do a good job describing Grace. Good descriptions with the addition of alliteration. I'm glad that things worked out for Grace. She was very lucky. I like the ending about her new career and no one pays attention to her hands, very helpful in her line of work, and she is making the big bucks! A good entry; good luck.

There you are. Where have you been? I have missed having my stuff reviewed by you, my shining red-headed pal.
As for this, I get the drift, save for... Grace is a walking ad for Trojans.
Maybe I am not the brightest bulb in a pack a six! Help.

Interesting! So a car accident allowed her to have plastic surgery and then she became drop dead gorgeous. But her real occupation is prestidigitation - perhaps to make money that way? Fun alliteration story!

This one-hundred-word story, Golly Gee, is a good story that started out pretty G-intensive, but after Greta became Grace, the Gs became a bit more strategically deployed.

Gee whiz. Thank you for the read. I wrote a 150w story a couple of months back and was not happy with it. I fiddled with it and turned it into this. Thanks again. Karen
