This poem speaks of the necessity of tribulation, temptation, in order to discipline are faith and bring us to a relationship with God. Much as these things worked on Job in his trials. I think the image of the stony valley, the difficult terrain, is a great image to illustrate this narrow, difficult path. estory

Satan is always there to attempt to persuade us to follow him. But God is always available to keep up on the right track. We just need to allow Him to do that. I don't see how people can tackle this journey of life with God's help. Thank you for sharing this reminder with us.

Sometimes Satan gets me to thinking of all my losses, especially my wife, but I try not to let him gain the victory. God has blessed me many times over in the past few years.I am thankful for Hid Holy Spirit.

It's true when we come to the end of ourselves, we lean more on God and less on ourselves. I like how you modified this Quatern poem to change the spiritual growth in the valleys of despair into actually learning.
