At first I thought, no way Tom would sell his beloved FanStory to Ryan Reynolds him being a Canadian and all. Then I thought it was a mistake and they meant Ryan Gosling. But no, he also is Canadian, so I don't know what to make of this rumour.
Other than it is very well written, full of lots of humour and a few good ideas about reviewing too.
Wishing you great luck with the Contest Committee. Maybe this one will be the wiener. :)

I have have heard of Tom selling since the very first day I got here. I think getting some publishers to do the occasional review so they can find some new writers would be a great thing, and get him prestige too. But it is just a dream.:-)

There are many isues which could be improved, but there is little interest in making it a serious writing site, unfortunately; it's more for forming friendships. For that reason the reviewing and the rankings are flawed, as are the awards of six stars. I don't take them too seriously. Of course I enjoy getting six stars, BUT personally I need to know I have earned them fotherwise they are meaningless. Many of your suggestions have merit, but the whhole site needs a new beginning for them to work. People won't accept change eg they would write frivolous reviews, just so they could post - many reviews are already not really what I call reviews of the writing presented - and of course many don't want genuine help, they just want to write a lot and fly up the ranks.

Well, I doubt there will be sea change. And, I love Ryan Reynolds. The first dead pool is my favorite of his movies. He is a blend of George Clooney and Tom Hanks. Thanks for the read, and your niceness. And a six. Thank you so much. Tell Mom Hi! :-)

You sold me on some of those ideas. I'm at the point now that I just enter a contest that I feel might be a challenge for me and in which I might get at least one vote. I stay away from just any contest just for the sake of entering. And I try to learn something each day, which is why I am trying various poetry forms now.
