Oh, Jesse! Very well expressed, my friend! These are worrisome times for so many the President elect considers "less than" in our society and the world.
I take some comfort in nearly half the country not voting for him!
I, too, am hoping and intend to be peacefully proactive in pushing back against those he has declared marginalized.
You are well loved and respected here...and I am one among many who support you both in your next series of health challenges and your determination to remain true to your identity, despite DJT's efforts to take us back to a time of intolerance.

A timely and important post, Jesse. Trump has to be regarded with great caution like a scorpion given that he has promised to reinstate a ban on military service for transgender people and block transition related care nationwide.
Members of the LGBTQ+ community should also be concerned about their rights under Trump given his love and admiration for Putin whose government recently expanded anti-LGBTQ laws in Russia.

Thanks, Gloria, for stopping by to scare the living daylights out of me. Comparing Trump to a scorpion is an apt statement and one I would not have considered before reading your review.
Although the things you say are true I still need to lean on hope that things will work out in the end. I am an optimist by nature.

I hope that nothing goes wrong for your knee replacement. It's a frightful thing to contemplate that a president would be so uncaring as to diminish the rights and well-being of minority groups. However he is hungry for power, and seems to be a very vengeful person towards those who disagree with him. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes.

Yes, I completely agree, Jesse. We need to pray and lean on each other for hope that God will continue to provide and help us work toward peace in this country.
