Adorable conversation.... teasing between Mom and Daughter... (Oh that Elanor has quite the wit!)

Need I repeat I'm a romantic? Sweet scenes between Jenna and Donnatelli...

And Patty?

Wow. how wrong could I have been? Is she in on ALL of this or did the neck squeezing man put her up to this?

Thank Goodness Danni picked up on "something"--

Whew!

This detective stuff is entertaining AND exhausting!

:)

Characterization is good. I love the dialogue. It's very easy to read, and even coming into the story at Chapter 20, I understand the relationships between the characters, even without reading the notes at the end. It sounds from the summary that this a mystery story, right? But this chapter reads more like a budding romance novel. Is it a combination?

It's a mystery crime with even a resident ghost...this is the second of the series and it's about to wrap up in a few more chapters... The budding romance is something I will carry over into the third book of the series. Thank you so much for taking a look at the chapter. I appreciate your comments.

Jenna and Donatelli had a lovely evening together, a nice surprise. It seems Patti is up to something no good. It's good that Danni can be there undetected. Good chapter, a little bit of a breather from all the intensity of the book. Blessings. Carol

I am glad Jenna and Matthew had a great dinner together. They're a cute couple. I can't wait to see what Patti is up to. I don't trust her. I really like this story.

Patti has got herself in a bind and I'm not sure how she is going to escape... And Jenna and Matthew hopefully can work things out between them....(Hope so since it works into the next story ) lol

I think my ideas for the third in the series will be the best yet...More about the characters getting involved in things than someone else's crimes. I'm not positive yet but I'm rolling around the ideas in my head.

I wish my mum would pop in for a while like Eleanor does with Jenna. I'm glad Matthew went with Jenna; I'm sure there is more to their relationship that neither realises yet. Now, what is Patti up to sneaking in the back door? I don't trust her. I was surprised to see another chapter already, keep them coming!! Another lovely chapter, and a lovely bit of romance in it too!! Well done, my clever friend. Love and hugs. Sandra xxx

I wish my Mom could do that too... Wouldn't that be awesome especially when things are feeling not that way you wish. When I worry I write...At times I feel I could turn a book out in a week if my eyes would hold up. LOL Thanks as always, Sandra. You are so good for me,

Oh, I'm so glad I checked back into this. My life has been upended with a fractured foot. Now a hurricane. Good grief!
This is splendid and a romance brewing between Jenna and Detective Matthew Donnatelli. The visit by Patti seems scripted and well-timed. Eaitinu for the other shoe to drop.

Hopefully I won't miss any more of this great book.
Sending you my very best today as always.

Thanks for reading, Sally, but please take care of yourself. I hope the foot is mending and that you are safe from the hurricane. I think the budding romance will carry over into the next of the series... At least that's where my thoughts are leaning at the moment. Donatelli needs to lose that chip on his shoulder.
