"Ryan Brown - All around jerk. He thinks highly of himself." LoL

Excellent chapter. The ending was scary. I like the conversations among Noah, Sami, and the rest.

Jasper is as protective as Noah. It's romantic and old fashioned.

Well done!

This was a very dramatic, exciting read. You did well. You said the chapter was short. Maybe I am tired, as it seemed quite long but no worries. No spags.

How did that intruder get accepted by the tech team? He seems to have some skills which could jeopardise everything, so they'll have to keep him locked up and away from Sami, whom he will have recognised. Just as well Sami has Jasper! Much drama here. An enjoyable read.

This is a well written chapter about a chicken dog (had no idea those monsters were chickens) and a spy that has discovered Sami. If she recognized him, he probably recognized her. Not good! Great dose of danger!

I grew up with a Dane. He was a sweet as could be and was afraid of storms, but extremely protective when it came to my mom and me. Thank you for the kind review.

We are getting closer to the end. Your story is so layered, and I am enjoying the process. How do you keep it all together? Do you have outlines or a storybook? Good work. Karen

I started with an outline and extensive notes. Unfortunately, my characters often travel their own paths, so I change my notes. Thank you for the kind review.

I, too, often sit down to write one thing and end up with another. :-)

Whatever changes you felt needed to be made, they definitely worked. I have the same problem that you describe...I do write a lot, but I edit much more. Still, if it winds up being the best it can be, it is all worth it.

The dog picture is a hoot! :-)

Thank you for the kind review. I grew up with a Dane. He was a sweet as could be and was afraid of storms, but extremely protective when it came to my mom and me. We also had a chihuahua that little dog ruled the giant dog. LOL It was funny to see.

Drama well done at the end there, revealing that slips can occur in an instant. And, in fact, your chapter started with another drama with Jasper so the scene was set and your writing skilfully structured so that there was an air of tension hanging over the property throughout.
Small edit: Drying her tears, Sam(i)...
An excellent chapter with pleasing pace and anticipation.
Well done, Barbara! Debbie

That was a good idea of introducing a stranger into the story at this time. The reader has been waiting for a little action. Waiting to see what Noah is going to do with Ryan Brown.

Just loved this episode Barbara, much action with a man bailed up by Jasper barging in to introduce himself, but Sami recognises him as someone that had been seeking out a prostitute. And the great plot thickens, well done Barbara, blessings Roy
