This is an interesting chapter as Sami gets the agents to play kick ball and they relax a little. She is still trying to teach Noah some social graces and he seems to be enjoying it. The characters' personalities are getting well differentiated now and they are all good people.

I'm glad that Sami and Noah are speaking to each other more and it seems the communication is getting better. I don't see why she gets so upset so easily but she's a strong-headed person.

Sami is almost there, but is still a bit too guarded when it comes to Noah. If they are going to become a couple, she will have to learn that Noah is what he is, and probably can't change. He isn't being horrible, and she needs to undertand that. She had some good questions, though, and some of the answers still need to be found. Well done, Barbara. :) Sandra xx

I love your female characters, they are always feisty with minds of their own. The gist of this chapter seems to come down to this dance between the girl who tries to keep chivalry at arm's length and the guy who keeps falling into the age old instinct of men to protect women. She just keeps feeling this need to demonstrate perhaps to herself as much as the men around her, that she can take care of herself. Whether she really can or not. He keeps walking on the proverbial eggshells, seems to be making progress on impressing the girl. estory

Nice chapter, Barb. That was a good idea to introduce a kickball game to get a change of pace in the story. Coyotes are common throughout the country today.

Yes, they have to get right all those details of daily living - including how to cope with boredom during the evenings. The characters seem relistic, although perhaps a little like those in your previous story, but that doesn't matter in the least. Great chapter, well written.

I liked the tension of the setting sun and the sounds of nature and how Sami was out of her element. This was a very good chapter that just let them be people.
