Hello, my dear friend. It's been a very long time, but I was rewarded by discovering your story up for vote. Of course, as usual, you draw the reader in, traumatize, and then leave a bit of sugar at the end. Awesome!
What a fantastic bit of enjoyment for my morning. I hope you are doing fine. Thanks for sharing this captivating story. Smiles and hugs, Carol

Hello, Carol, my sweet, always missed friend. It's so glad to see your name and face pop up on my screen, as always. I've thought about you often, just didn't want to be a pest by sending messages. Good to see you back. Thank you so much for the encouraging and generous review. You always make me smile!

You set the scene well. I was cheering for Sienna but didn't expect the killer to be with her at the end. Nice twist. It seems that the judge finally got the justice he deserved. Now the widow and live the life she chooses without fear of abuse.

Thank you so much for your generous review and kind words. I appreciate you taking time to read a story that most likely isn't on your priority genre list. Which makes it all the more appreciated!
Comment from Judy E Lococo
At least something went right! Although, it wasn't exactly what I had expected. But considering the author, I wasn't surprised that there was a bend in the road.

Thank you so much, Judy, for taking time out to read my foolishness. Most of these readers don't really know the first thing about me, which is good. But what they really don't know is that those of you who do know me, never know what I might say or do next either. LOL. I appreciate your kind and generous review, but most of all, for YOU being YOU!

Your descriptive words is what drew me in to this story. And then, as I read, the theme of the story kept me going with it many twists and turns. You were able to draw a vivid picture of the judge early on and he was an easy man to distrust, even hate. Oh, the irony. Oh the justice. Especially for a judge. Loren

Thank you so much, Ulla, for your generous review and kind words. Yes, it is longer than I wanted it to be, I just couldn't figure out a way to cut it back. LOL. I'm so glad you liked it. And greatly appreciate your taking time to read and review it. Much appreciated!

Another roller coaster ride of a story. I appreciate the effort you take with accurate descriptions (unless you just know a lot of stuff). Often times using specific information rather than general can make a good story even better. The killer knew the house, so he knew the wife too? Wow, cheating everywhere you look. Glad she nailed hubby,,,nice touch.

You have a find collection of really creepy people here. The wife seemed to only bright light in a crowd until she called her sister, who was a good person. It was a little bit of a let-down for the wife to have rigged the husband's death, but it was the perfect way to turn the tables.

Thank you so much, Carol, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I'm sorry I disappointed you with the ending. I did kind of leave it so readers could sort of decide in their own minds what they thought. But your choice is the most likely. LOL. It's always a pleasure for such talented writers like you to enjoy my foolishness. I appreciate YOU!

And I apologise for no six to give today! This was brilliant, absolutely brilliant! Although a short story, you packed it all in from beginning to end. You're so talented, my friend. I learn so much reading you. Mind blowing action!
Sending you my best today as always and blessings for your writing endeavors.

Thank you so much, Sal, my dear, for your generous review and kind words. There is no six that could ever compare to the praise from such a talented writer as you. Someone who I've enjoyed reading and learning from for a long time. You've made my week! I appreciate YOU!

I would give this a six, but I think the adjectives are overdone. But it's a great story when it comes to character and plot.
The judge sounds typical of an abuser: good-looking, charming, intelligent. You add the reason Sienna won't leave him. It's rarely about money.

A delightful read save for how did Pastor Gurley get to be? And a Duschene smile??? I had to look that up. Crow feet, hmm. Like George Clooney's. Is he or was related to Rosemary?

ROFL! Yes, George Clooney is Rosemary's nephew. Pastor Gurley just happened to be a way to make the judge more of a scumbag. Maybe I should have said flawless, fake smile for Duchenne. Thanks for your generous review and the time it takes to read my foolishness. Much appreciated!

Without your pennings of foolishness how would I top of my tanks of the same ilk. We feed off each other even if only occasionally. I like your stuff.

I enjoy your stuff every day! It's lets me know I'm not totally unique, and there is someone out there who doesn't think of me as a freak. At least all of the time. :-)
