This is wonderful. I can hardly wait for Part Two. I don't blame the other planets. Why should they be stuck for eternity with such a jerk. Maybe Pluto will make amends.

I hope you're right. That would be a real bummer to have that guy around for eternity. We'll see when part 2 comes out next week.

You gave readers some great facts about a true event. Yes, Pluto was
demoted. You did a great job with the rhymes, the smooth flow, and
the story told. I enjoyed reading it. Great color scheme, image, and overall presentation.

It's interesting: The character Pluto was created by Disney in the same year that Pluto the planet was discovered and named (1930). Probably not a coincidence.

Do you really want a period after Kuiper belt? Seems like it should be continued. Should belt also be capitalized?

Belt should definitely be capitalized. The period could either go after "rest" or where I've got it. But I think I will change it to after "rest" because it will look more natural. Nice catches. Full version will come out next week.

Actually we could use some of the helium and hydrogen of those planets. I ove this poem Jim, it's easy to read and its narrative is amusing, filled with literary imperatives for compulsive reading, beautifully even tempo, despite variable meter, good rhyme too, well done, blessings Roy

I can totally see them all in a planet meeting voting to expel Pluto from the group! I can't wait for part two lol! Great work! Also quick but important thing, your soul. Have you ever looked at a beautiful painting and thought that the painting painted itself? No, of course not, the painting means there must be a painter. Now imagine every sunrise, sunset, mountain, atom in your body, all your family and friends. Can you imagine that making itself? No of course not there had to have been a someone, a God, to create that. And no matter how good of a person you think you are, you have sinned against that God. But there is still hope for you, that's why Jesus died on the cross for you, yes you. Repent of your sins and trust in Jesus and he will replace your heart of stone for a heart of flesh. I'm not exactly the height of knowledge on the topic, so I would highly recommend that for more information you go to Living Waters on YouTube, please just watch one video and you won't regret it. Thanks so much for the good review. That's a strange ice-breaker to be sure! I had to do a bit of research on Pluto before writing this, as I wanted to be factually accurate.

Thanks so much, Jacqueline. The real reason is a little obscure. Some planetary committee decided to downgrade it because "it did not clear it's neighborhood of other objects" which means that no other bodies of comparable size other than its own satellites are in its vicinity in space. I like my reason better.
