I read the definition on tryst, Melissa. :) It read a little different, but if it is with your muse then it is alright. It is a very romantic place that you have pictured here, your words do it justice. This is a good offering for the ABC Poetry Contest. Thank you for sharing.

I really like this one! Trysts on a pond at early dawn is very peaceful and serene. Just you and your muse...and the cavorting breezes and bedazzling drops! Such a lovely picture that captures that moment perfectly. Well done.

Upon reading the poem It reminds me 3 days my wife and family spent in a cabin overlooking a view at Lake Arrowhead. Sunsets there similar with hillside trees surrounding the view. Blessings and Good Luck in the ABC Poem Contest.
