Oh this is so intense! Everyone was so surprised that Jack had prayed. At least now he is back with God, I'm sure Cody will live. But Jack must keep his faith and get Cody back to normal. This chapter was another great one. Well done! :)) Sandra xx

Well, Sandra, Jack is a Texas boy, so nothing is easy with him. (Trust me -- I"m married to one, was raised around them and have two of my own! lol) But a little birdie told me that he's going to come around. :)
Thank you, sweet friend,
Deb

I like it because of the "head-hopping". It gives it more depth, more heart. I am completely taken with everything - your attention to setting and dialogue are top-notch!

Good! I LIKE head-hopping. lol. And I like Laine. She just isn't getting a lot of 'front page' time. Appreciate your input, Margaret.
Blessings!

The miraculous prayer brings Cody back to life, exactly like in the Bible:"Ask, and you'll receive" . The prayer of a brother is stronger than any other words.Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter

Those Biblical miracles still happen. We often don't recognize them or write them off to our own abilities, but God is still working every day. :)
Thank you for reviewing so faithfully, Iza.
Be blessed,
Deb

The different points of view do not trouble me at all because that is the real way life, trauma, emotional pain, etc. occur. You need to switch POV to keep the story lined up.

Thank you, Rebecca. UP until now, there was almost no point to do that, so I was worried it would feel weird. lol. Appreciate you!

I like the way you've got Jack making a prayer, not like him, and it's amazing how God turns, He turned up in my life, with not known Christians in my family or really friends, when I needed Him. This may be fiction, but that's how God turns, the ways of God, are amazing brilliant episode Deb, blessings, Roy
Typo : Mclolland 2 Caught by her (intent) gaze. Intense?

God always shows up just in time, doesn't He. He truly is amazing.
I'll run over there and fix those errors. How could I misspell McClellan? That's one of my kid's last names! lol
Thank you, Roy. :)
Blessings,
Deb

Hooray! Jack finally turned to God and prayed! A dramatic turn and so I hope that this is also a turning point in Jack's walk with the Lord.
"Rachael shuddered and Jack " (you have it spelled 'Rachel' later. just stick with one.)
"McClollan. Come on ... come on." (McClellan)
"" HIs words fell " (His)

Augh! And I read through it three times and STILL missed those errors. lol. No such thing as self-editing, I believe. :)
Thank you, Helen.
