Four stars

LOL! I totally get it. When I first started on this site, I took the writing guidelines so literally that I started with the four star minimum but then so many countered with "What was wrong? Why the four stars?" So then, I realized the rating isn't as important as showing you read the work and sometimes have useful comments. Now when I get four stars, I figure it's a newbie.

Well written 3 cubed form Jen and I like your repeated question.
Just four stars?
I think we've all gotten reviews that sound as though they've really enjoyed our words then the star count leaves you scratching your head,
good one.
cheers.

We all as writers desire the very best marks we can get on our work. Sometimes a reviewer may have a heavier hand giving a review that seems unfair. They sometimes don't seem to give a clear explanation either. It just appears that they're taking a shot at you. You just have to take the criticism and go on. I like this poem that addresses this problem superbly. Great job and well done!

Repetition is humors best friend and you use it with such flair. This is terrific, and I am not going to give you four stars. I am going to give you five. So good!

This three-cubed poem, Four Stars, follows the guidelines for the contest and voices frustration with numbered ratings that don't match the written review. Here's a five. I'd give you a six, but, c'mon. :)

Good job, Jen. I know many will identify with your topic. You did a great job with the contest prompt. Your well-chosen words + art pair nicely. An honest four is ok. But when given with no suggestions after high praise , , , Thanks for sharing. Jan

Hi Jen. I think we all go through this. One time he did not like the photo but was a brand new member. I have had many four star reviews where the review is very complimentary. I even got one star from such a review. Thank you for sharing

This is very funny. Very nice job with the format. The capital letters of the last line are perfect. Good pacing and flow. Reads well both silently and out loud. A little better out loud because one can vocally emphasize the last line. Excellent. Hugh

Truer words... It becomes a poetry factory if we are working on forms and the contest gets well said. Bravo, your thought is perfectly stated. Great job and good luck.
