A-H-H so natural and companionable - love has just so many wonderful guises and shapes - but what a dynamic love is pervading all aspects of our human life on the planet - lovely pic

Hi zanya, Thanks for stopping by for a peek at my 6 words and yes I love this pic too and waited for an opportunity to use it and this seemed perfect. Glad you liked it and appreciate your review Cheers Christine😃
Comment from WalkerMan
In six words, this is a touchingly concise expression of innocent childhood love, perfectly illustrated by a beautifully sweet "watching the sunset" image. The daisies the young girl holds probably were given to her by him. Nicely done.

Hi WalkerMan, Thank you for stopping by to read my 6 words. and your words in review made it worthwhile to write. Cheers Christine

You're welcome, Christine. I really enjoyed it, as it reminded me of my sister and me from when we were young. When I was four, I asked my parents for a sister. She arrived a few days after my fifth birthday, and my whole life since I have considered her my present, my best friend, and my most trusted critic (always constructive). Once, long ago, I found the perfect birthday card for her. It said, "Happiness is having a sister." Many decades later, I still think that's true. Where did you find that lovely picture? I may want to purchase the rights to use it without royalty if the cost is reasonable. -- Mike
-
Hi Mike, What a lovely bloke you are to say such nice things about your sister I have Two brothers and we all have a very close and loving relationship so I hope they would think of me like you do as I do of them. Yes this image is gorgeous and I am not sure how you could get a copy I saw in in a facebook post I think and just copied it to my photo file in the hope I could use it in a poem. I dont even know what it is called or the artist so sorry cant be much help. Hope you always have happy birthdays Cheers Christine
-
Thank you for that lovely compliment, and I'm glad you and your brothers have a similar relationship.
Unfortunately, I have some bad news that is important. An image-tracing site that I use (TinEye.com) shows the origin of the image is a site that has wallpaper images for computer desktops. These images are restricted in use, according to their legal Terms of Service. ALL of the other sites (and there are many) that are showing that image could be sued for copyright infringement unless they bought the rights to display that image (which is unlikely). You must be very careful about using any image you find on the Internet unless you obtain it from its true source under that source's Terms of Service. Pictures from social sites like FB or from blogs are highly suspect, as the ones who posted them may not be (and likely are not) entitled to display them. Accordingly, to protect yourself from legal troubles (and the cost could be enormous), you must replace that image (no matter how much you like it) with something from a known source that allows the use, and then you must show proper attribution in your author notes. I have about forty image sources that I use -- some free, some not -- and will take the time to see if the best free ones have anything like the one you cannot use. If so, I'll give you the link to it. -- Mike

Hi Mike Thank you for the heads up I did wonder about copy right for this image but as there were no warnings or anything to suggest it could not be used if it was on FB And 'free' to be able to be copied I assumed I could use it. i always try to acknowledge any image I use if I know the source so my mistake this time and I do appreciate your help and concern. I will change it as soon as I can with something I know I can use. Many Thanks Cheers Christine

Glad to help, Christine. Sorry, I've been away from FS for about three days on personal business, and haven't had time to research an alternate photo yet. As for FB and other social sites, I don't trust any of them and never even visit them. I don't have the time, anyway. I'll get back to you if I find a comparable picture that is royalty free, or tell you if I cannot find one. It may take a while, as I have a lot of sources to check. -- Mike

Thank you Mike Cheers Christine

Good news, Christine -- I found an image every bit as good. However, after scouring over two dozen free image sites, I had to conclude that such an image just can't be found on free sites. Accordingly, I went to the primary paid image site that I have been using for the past year and found one very much like the one you have. It shows a young boy and girl hugging as they sit on a wooden dock watching the sunset, and is available in multiple sizes at the cost of "one download" (regardless of size) on their subscription plan (whichever plan you choose). Right now, their monthly plan, normally $39.00 USD for five (different image) downloads, is discounted to $25.00, meaning $5.00 per image. Note: By their Terms of Service, you must download all five images within the month if you intend to cancel before automatic renewal for the next month, else you lose the chance to download any not downloaded by then. My subscription renews monthly, and unused downloads do roll over as long as I remain currently paid, but that cost adds up over time. Yet, $25 is a very good price for five images if you download them all within the month and then cancel. Once you buy an image this way, you may use it any way you want -- resize it, combine it with another image from any source, crop it, etc. If you have software for quality resizing, then I recommend downloading the largest size you might ever need and resizing it yourself for each use. If not, I think you can later download again any size of the same image up to (but not larger than) the one you first chose to download. (Please note that similar images from other paid sites could cost as much as $40.00 USD for just one image -- I checked.) Here is the URL to go look at the image I found:
https://www.dreamstime.com/stock-image-two-children-watching-summer-sunset-little-boy-girl-hugging-sky-sitting-wood-family-love-image40435711
If you want it, then click the link for their plans, sign up, then go back to the above page to download the image. After that, you can search the site any time within the next 29 days (the cycle is 30 days -- NOT a month) to download four other images you like. Questions? Ask me. -- Mike

A delightful thought. The "forever" bit might be pushing your luck at that age. I was about that age when I announced to my mother that I was going to marry Rose and we would have seven sons. I married Rose's friend and had three daughters. Rose married someon else and they are without issue. The best laid plans of six year olds have a habit of failing to come to fruition. It is a nice thought though.

A-w-w-w-wwww...
How sweet is first young love, I ask you?
In my humble opinion, one had best enjoy love while they are young, happy, and carefree.
It's all downhill after that.
Good luck in the contest.

It is a very nice and simple message of love between the young. I would only recommend using a picture of perhaps an older couple. Other than that, a solid entry.
