Hi, Carolyn.
This is beautiful and says so much in few words. Like with writing, show, don't just tell. Words are nice, action speaks the loudest.
Bye
Rosalyne :)

Hi, Carolyn.
Nice commentary in this potent poem! Excellent word economy, with every syllable utilized so well. Only actions can prove our willingness to do something. You have nicely captured a strong message here.

Anupam

Hi Anupam,
I like what you said, word economy... Fits a short syllable count perfectly.
Thanks, Carolyn

Mmm...
We talk about love
Demonstration is better
Show your love today
You summed it up well. I like this little haiku. Actions do speak louder than hollow words.

Your poem is in excellent 5/7/5 syllable count
you make an insightful point
and one worth living by -I love the quote in your author line - yep, lots of people claim to love a variety of other people from spouses to the poor and downtrodden, but not nearly as many of them walk the walk while talking the talk... Brooke

This is a very sentimental poem and it rings true. We should all listen to the ideals in this poem. This I a lovely piece of writing.
