That's nutty. You have a good sense of humor. I myself come from a long line of Barbie Dolls and Supermen, but who doesn't love Raggity Ann & Andy. Well thought out and clearly written poem. Nice work.

Happy New Year

This is hilarious! I love the Raggedy Ann couple with Barbie. There are alot of ways this could be expressed. Well done!

I knew right off she had been adopted cause mom and dad are cute, but I cannot say as much for her. Besides that I want the member dollars I can get. Congrats on the All Time Best award. Patricia

Heh, heh, not my usual style Patricia, I can promote because I've got lots of member dollars, so I understand your desire for member dollars, it means I can promote the gospel, and have bit of fun, it took me awhile, but it looks like I'll finish well! My first 12 months have just come up! Lord's blessings on you! Roy.

A quirky poem that makes one want to scratch their head then turn around a show it to a friend. The line that made me scratch my head was: "in her tank there's no juice." But, it's a funny nonsense poem, so you did you job perfectly with that line.

The illustration itself is hilarious. You have a good eye in picking out something as nonsense funny as your poem. Good luck with the contest.

Some people stumbled at that line, it means that the tank was her head, but there was no fuel in it! It was a frequent expression in my country to call petrol/gas, "juice". Fuel is technically not a gas! But thank you for this gracious and lovely review, blessings for the new year to you and yours! Blessings, Roy.

This is very funny, Roy, and fits the Funny Nonsense Theme perfectly.

I like your rhyme scheme. I chuckled at these two clever lines, in particular:

"Even you will deduce
in her tank there's no juice."

Well done, my friend. Take care. Alana

A great funny nonsense poem and a fantastic picture to go with it. She certainly doesn't look like a puppet and without doubt looks as if she has been adopted. A great fun poem to read. Certainly put a smile on my face. Genya

Well done and best wishes for the contest. Loved the illustration and the little poem was cheeky and we need more fun-type poems these days. Most enjoyable.

Cute little ditty- not too certain of the tank and no juice thing? sort of confusing- When I have to wonder what you mean it doesn't strike me as funny but I loved the cartoon you added.

Thanks for the review.what was wrong with it? Many poems I don't like but I don't Mark them on liking them or not liking them! Roy.

I said it was confusing- not that I didn't like it- I would never say that- When you have to wonder what it means it has not been expressed as well as it could be- that was my point- I do not rate for like or dislike but content and style

Sorry about the comment, but usually poems are marked down because of syntax problems not understanding, it was entered in a nonsense poem contest anyway, so if you missed the humour I'm sorry, "juice in the tank" is a metaphor for no sense in her head! I have no desire to be "offside" my apologies. Blessings, Roy.

I don't know how I missed this, Roy. It didn't show up in my email queue.

I'm so glad after I read this through a half-dozen times or more, I checked below and saw it was a nonsense poem. Funny it was, nonsense it also was--in the most complimentary of ways.

Congratulations on the All Time Best status for this!
