good morning carolyn
your entry is grand
and yes
written and executed wonderfully
the format is true to form
your presentation is more than marvelous
your words are well composed and crafted
truly
your title is also grand to which you did not stray
your words also apply to life in general
at times we do not see the opportunities
we need to recognize them when they show up
thank you for sharing your talent
this was a pleasure to read
good luck with the contest

Grab every opportunity before it's gone, chances are it will or never come back.
I liked your simile: opportunities like rainbows and waterfalls; grand in rendition of the message in the beauty of words and language and to the closing line. Excellent piece to a nice read and enjoyable read. Thanks for sharing.} Lin

Opportunities are like rainbows and waterfalls which means not often seen or understood. Snowflakes are many but if you look as each as an opporunity not taken than maybe opprotunities are many but missed becauase they are not recognized as such.
Hope you do well in the contest.
Keep writing.

I see the wisdom surface from the naani, but only after reading the notes. I like it, and read it several times, then seen the notes. Kenny

Very well put. Many say it's really much more about luck than talent. Rarely can anyone do much without talent, but what about luck???
Thanks for sharing,
Mike

Thanks Mike, I am not so much about luck as I am about being courageous, stepping our and doing, instead of just waiting for things to happen. I love your comments, :-) Carolyn

Sure thing, Carolyn! You're right on: being courageous counts big, too.
Peace,
Mike

Lovely picture and very true words. I especially enjoyed
your author comments. True opportunities are rare but you are so right in your advice to cease the moment.
Yes, I'm back. Retired in June but been to busy to get on FS. I look forward to reading more of your work.

love the pairing of artwork and poem, which is in good syllable count and line count for the naani
excellent use of enjambment to make this one continuous statement
terrific use of simile to make a thoughtful point
an insightful observation on the nature of opportunities, which are rare and ought to be taken advantage of :-) Brooke

I love this, Carolyn. So very glad I had one sixer left. I never pass up an opportunity. They are few and far to far between. LOL
Best of luck in the contest.
