Sanku, this older 3-5-3 'Air' Poem writing prompt entry is well constructed conveying deep meaning in so few words. The personification is powerful. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

This is a well done 3-5-3 poem, Sanku. If only God's storm could blast away the horrible things that are happening in our world right now. I like your repetition of from in the second and third lines.
Good luck in the contest. Alana

A beautiful prayer, Santha.
If only it were as simple as that, right?
The evening news is full of despair and horror these days, isn't it? I am reluctant to turn it on, sometimes.
Hope you're having a wonderful week, my friend.
Love,
Sonali

Thank you ,Sonali.I know, you don't want to turn the tv on and the news papers are full of ,if not war stories ,stories about murder burglary etc .Most scary part is the murders committed on elderly women who lives alone ,mainly for the gold they wear!( in India wearing Gold is a must, unfortunately!) love ,take care

What a lovely 3-5-3 about faith. Now, if only we might expect a storm could do exactly that - how much nicer we would all be. The photo is a terrific choice for your words. My wishes for good luck! AT=/

That would be nice, author, if strong, stirring storms could in fact whisk away all of the hatred from the face of the earth. I can think of one way this could happen. God could unleash another flood much as He did the first time. However, that option is off the table, so to speak, as He's promised us the world would never again be destroyed by water. Now, winds and fire, well...that's another story.
Well done, and best of luck to you in the contest.:}

I am not so sure. the way many things are going now, we don't need any God to destroy us .We have become mammoth Gods with power to destroy ourselves. Thank you very much for reading.
-
At least we believe we are mammoth gods, and therein lies the problem...
You are very welcome, Sanku.

Let this storm
from Thee blast off hate
from this world.
That is a true wish for our world.. for His wind to cleanse the evil and the hatred from our souls and purify each of us.
Excellent.

This meets the criteria of the prompt, and it is a good prayer to which many people around the world would say Amen. Good luck in the contest, Jeanie Mercer
