To restore something that is broken or had defects is never an easy job. But if we can restore all the bad in life, that will be wonderful.
I do belief the restorers are people who have patience and love to mend any broken and worn out souls too, lol.
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie. :))

Yes, I guess that's me. I do have a lot of patience, except with a few things. Impatient People rile me up. LOL I love this work so much, it seems more like play. Take care Ritchie, have a great weekend. Love, Carolyn

It is a good hobby and training for us.
In the good old days when things get broken we repair them not throw them away especially love and relationships, :))
Hugs, bro Ritchie. :))

It is exciting and I love it. I do find, however, that between writing, reviewing, painting, working, grandchildren, church work, husband, and etc., my house and laundry are suffering. LOL
Thank you so much Sonali, :-) Carolyn

The many things that inspire us to write and share beautiful thoughts...this was a lovely poem. I like the alliteration of r's in the last line as well as the title of it.

OOOOOh love this Carolyn. I have at least a dozen such dolls. Collector's items they are. One I have is named Rose Marie and my ex broke an arm on her. I glued it back together, but it is noticeable. We used to have a doll hospital here in town, but the lady who did the fixup is long gone. I was pretty angry about it, but nothing I could do. LOL. Miss Sally

Hi, Carolyn.
This is a great poem. Using so few words you really shared the beauty of the porcelain treasured doll. What a wonderful job you have. You are very talented in a variety of artistic expressions.
I smiled reading your poem. I, too, have been working on a children's story about an antique doll.
Best of luck in the contest.
Bye
