So sorry I missed the read and the vote for this one. At least I can take pleasure in reading your poem and congratulating you on a fine win. I love hyacinth and you have expressed the pleasure they give so remarkably. I have enjoyed ... I love the presentation. I'm in the process of trying to help two littl plants survive as they were thrown in the bin and shrivelled ..... some very tiny new shoots ... I'm thrilled ... hyacinths can be a bit touchy. LOL

I have enjoyed your allit. in "clusters.supped", and 's' allit. and consonance in "star-/clusters/slim/leaves/spring/dreams" and the same of 'l' in "petaled/clusters/lovingly/slim/leaves". You create a beautiful image and share the emotions of a beloved flower. Simple and elegant. The cadence is so smooth and gentle, dream-like. Well done. Hugs - Lovinia xoxo

I love hyacinths. Their scent is amazing, as you point out in this really well written little piece. Yet, what I find more important is how you describe the petals and leaves. Very well written.
