I am astounded how quickly time has helped my children grow and those childhood years seem to whiz by, I enjoyed your poignant post, love Dolly x x x

This is beautifully written for the contest and I very much enjoyed listening to it. It flows very well when it is ready loud and your presentation is very well done. May you have a wonderful weekend and may God bless you. Patricia.

I imagine they go into their bank of happy memories that they'll tell their children about some day. Or they might become writers of children's stories and incorporate their fond memories into the stories. Or, they might, when they become parents, recreate those happy times so their children will experience them, too. :)
Good poem and good question.

The innocence of the childhood years disappear as one grows, influenced by the temptations of this world. Well penned, dear friend. Good luck with the contest.

This is a great cinquain poem. That is a good question; how do the years fly by so fast. One minute their young and then grown. Like you say they loose their innocence.

Well done

Cecilia
