I was born in the year of the tiger.
I collect phone cards and one of my coolest sets is the Chinese zodiac.
That said,
the four year reference tells me you don't like Trump.
I look at the facts.
13 million illegals including criminals, pedophiles and terrorists entered on Harris' watch yet people hate Trump.
This humongous influx weighs dramatically on your health and education system.
Everyone expects Trump to make things right now.
The war in Ukraine was lost already last year in September yet the Biden administration is dragging it on.
Just last month Biden suggested that Zelensky lower the conscription age to 18 because the Ukraine army is 6 feet under.
I repeat 18 ..
It was 27 then 25 last year.
America is using Ukraine to weaken Russia and it's obvious that Ukraine lives don't matter.
Trump wants to end the war but Biden gave Zelensky permission last month to use long range missile in Russian territory. .. this is madness.
We are on the brink of WW3 .
There is so much more to say but I know I'm wasting my breath.

I know you know the reason and it is a very nice poem.
I am just a reviewer, and I wanted to know about this day, so I looked online. You are correct, a poem can evoke emotions, create vivid imagery, and prompt reflection. Poems are to go beyond intellectual comprehension.

That may be true in China, but the USA's four years of the snake will end. My hope for America has become alive again. No lonoger will citizens be pressed to kneel when the anthem is played.
