Interesting story, nice closing at the end. I do not "wake up" until after I had my shower. But I do get that endorphin high after I do a workout, finish a new story or better yet when I read a review (good and not so good ones)

I am happy for you. I have an uncle who is a similar situation. He's trying to regain his full mobility. It's been about two years now. When we are in the peak of health, we take the "obvious blessings" for granted. Continue to be well, get better and to be inspired.

I walk everywhere and nothing like that ever happens to me, must be more to it, I eat well and even do iv vitamin infusions, no errors noted in the work.

Since 2020, I have been wheelchair-bound. So, walking down a hall with a walker is a big deal. Thank you for reading and reviewing my piece.

"Glow from Walking" is a great example of how one can find happiness in the simple things of life if only one is willing to look for them. It makes people want to celebrate the act of walking, to be proud of themselves for having accomplished something and to look ahead to the things that are coming in their lives. The poet's process is a good example of how a balanced life can lead to making a positive change in one's life.
