Thank you, Gypsy! This was fun to do and I contributed a 5/7/5, Glistening Treetops. I've never heard of Renga before but I love the collaborative nature of it. I've read some poems and I will return to read all.

Love and Peace,

Alex x

On my first reading,I was not quite sure if this was to be reviewed. But of course, I found it to be well illustrated and presented, so why not. It is stunning as all your presentation thus far. Black and white tones to me are are very strong, but can be also used to create subtle tones. Nice one.

This sounds really interesting, Gypsy. I wouldn't mind trying it but would want to 'pm' you with my effort first to see if I have it right. I just read your other reviews and read Shelly's poem. Is that how it is? And does everyone have to follow the same theme, or can they be different? And how many stanzas do we write? From your author's notes, it would be two but different words, does that mean a different theme? Was that a stupid question??? LOL.
I think you will have a lot of poets signing up for this. Well done, my friend. :))Sandra xx

I created another multi-author Renga book years ago and I forgot what a pain in the neck it is. LoL just kidding. It's a complicated form but we will get the hang of it soon. I spent all day editing and revising and rewriting... I think we are okay now.

I hope you will join us. I will help you step by step.

    a summary...

the first poet writes a 5/7/5 stanza and the next poet writes a 7/7 stanza, the same process repeats on and on. Some Renga Books go up to 100 stanzas or more. We keep the same theme but it may develop into something new.... it's an interesting poetic form... very old... created in the 13th century. No questions are stupid questions... it shows that you care to do it right.

Thank you very much, Sandra. Have a wonderful day. 😊

I've posted one. I did it wrong the first time, making in a 7-5-7!! LOL. Then realised and quickly changed it. I hope you like mine. Please tell if it's rubbish! xxx

Gypsy, This is a very interesting and well written poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and very lovely imagery from the artwork you chose. I will have to think about this before I try it. love and blessings, teri
