Villanelle, is that Elle MacPherson in French. It almost looks as good as she does. This is a clever form of poetry, even if it does sound like the latest model of Peugeot. Another great example as to why you always rate at the top or near the top of all poets on this site.

A well done villanelle. I do find the repeated lines confusing in this form but yours flows well. When I think of Truth - I think of Jesus and He is the perfect embodiment of Truth and Grace!

Yes, truth has the power to sift through lies. The truth will shine its light on darkness. Somehow, the truth always comes out, and if a person hides the truth, it probably come out in some form, sooner or later. Excellent repeating lines in this, and you did a great job with the villanelle form. judi

Truth is the better road to take, though sometimes it can be a bitter pill to swallow. But in the end, it is far better to face the truth than discover you were living lies. Very well said.
