I grew up on Spam and eggs and escaped it as an adult. Now the other
spam clogs my inbox instead of my arteries...

I remember occasionally eating Spam for dinner as a kid. Your words are humorous and you also bring to mind the spam emails that we all receive. Excellent use of twenty syllables in a poem. Best wishes for the contest.
