This is a powerful poem for the human suffering contest. You included many different forms of suffering, each one horrible in itself. This is deeply moving. The imagery you share - especially when describing the brutality of war - is haunting. But it shows the pain in the world. I like how you show that the human spirit endures even in the worst of circumstances. The ending is beautifully uplifting. This is a toucing and well written poem.
